I have decided to quit my full time job and pursue my love of  adventure, travel and writing.

On January 16th, my boyfriend John and I are headed across the glove to Namibia. John is fulfilling his dream of becoming a bush pilot and I’m going to write full time. 

Although I know I’ll hit a few bumps in the road, I’m beyond excited for this new chapter.

It feels weird to quit a job without another one lined up. I’ve never done it before. In fact, until this point, my professional journey has been well defined. Now, I’m jumping into the deep end and making a huge career change.

In the next few months, I’ll be traveling through Japan, Thailand, Cambodia and South Africa. If you’d like to follow along, check out my travel blog.
