Hello out there! I know it’s been a while, but I have a good excuse. I really do. I packed my bags and hit the road, headed to Namibia via Southeast Asia. I’m going the long way around.
It’s been the trip of the lifetime so far, having gone through Japan, Cambodia and Thailand.
Although I haven’t spent a lot of time writing my novel, I have been blogging fairly regularly at expeditionexpat.com. Plus, traveling has given me tons of things to think about. Just the people watching alone provides me with hours of writing fodder. Visiting Cambodia struck a particular chord, so I’ve made notes to follow up on my thoughts once I get settled.
How does anyone stay on a schedule while traveling? I find it very difficult to fit any novel writing into my day while traveling. Do you have any thoughts or tips on your own writing routine? If so, please share!
